Tracing the evolution of the Lalbagh Sports Carnival community.
The Initial Spark
LSC was founded as a neighborhood initiative on local playgrounds in Lalbagh, Old Dhaka. Featuring a single Cricket league, the event united 3 schools and 50 student athletes, proving the massive demand for organized youth sports.
Community Expansion
Organizers added Football and Chess categories to the roster. Participation expanded to 12 educational institutions across Dhanmondi and Lalbagh, tracking over 300 athletes on offline spreadsheets.
Semi-Professional Formats
Three new indoor sports categories (Ludo, Carrom, Archery) were introduced. Total verified athlete registrations exceeded 800 across 24 regional colleges. Pilot referee consoles were introduced for live scoring trials.
The Digital Revolution
LSC launched its official web platform, providing real-time tournament brackets, detailed player profiles, institution scoreboards, verified referee consoles, and digital partner portals.

Our mission is to bring youth back to active physical sports, fostering community bonding, sportsmanship, and physical health. By providing schools and colleges with a state-of-the-art tournament platform, we empower student athletes and managers to professionalize grass-root competitions in Bangladesh.
